Time Well Spent

Wow, this is the 100th post for this Crazy Paper Freak! I spent a few hours creating this card for my hubby. It will be our 9 year wedding anniversary next Wednesday. Nine years? Where did that time go? Boy, a lot has happened in the past 9 years. I don't even think I could begin to list everything. Long story short, we are happily married with 2 beautiful children. What more could I ask for?

I got the inspiration for this card from the Paper Craft Crew Challenges. The sketch is for challenge #58. I've really been enjoying their sketches! I can't take credit for the camouflage background. I stole the idea from a fellow Stampin' buddy.

I got a little time to play in my woman cave this morning. I can't take credit for the idea, I saw a similar card on Pinterest. I just LOVE how it turned out though. I'm totally going to start doing this technique more often. It's super time consuming, but it's SO worth it! I created this card for Mojo Monday Challenge #303

The Paper Players Challenge #151

Just the name of the blog grabbed my attention. The Paper Players. Sounds like a challenge to me!

I stumbled across this blog today on Pinterest. Good ole' Pinterest. I can always count on it for inspiration. This looks like a really fun blog with wonderful challenges. I'm bound and determined to overwhelm myself with as many challenges as possible. I feel like it's the only way I can come up with new stuff. I need a little {push} in the right direction.

Here is the sketch for challenge #151. I will definitely be doing this one. I already have so many ideas in my head.

So... Here is what I came up with. My original idea was already used as an example. Yes, I thought of it before I saw their card. Darn it! I think plan B worked well though!

Got my Mojo on!

The kids are away at Vacation Bible School this morning, so I had a chance to get something put together for Mojo Monday's Challenge #298. I had so much fun with this. Although, it took me nearly 3 hours to complete. RIDICULOUS! I kept changing things as I went along. I started out with a completely different vision for this card. I do love how it turned out though!

Thankful for Wisteria Wonder

I used the same idea from the last card. I just changed up the color and the size. I'm really not a fan of square cards. Honestly, because I don't have envelopes for them and I absolutely HATE making them. I know, kind of ridiculous. Here is what I created while I was doing "laundry." he he

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Ink ~ Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Stayz on Black
Stamp Sets ~ Stippled Blossoms, From My Heart

Mojo Monday challenge #295

Happy Memorial Day! This weekend has been pretty low key. We had a bit of a family emergency last week, so we took advantage of the long weekend to rest up. Everything and everyone is back on the mend. I desperately needed some alone time, so I locked myself in my craft cave. Here is Mojo Monday's challenge for the week.

Here is what I came up with. I needed some extra Thank you cards, and this was the perfect sketch. I decided to use my Stippled Blossoms set for the first time. I also used vellum for the first time too. I think it turned out great! It was exactly what I had pictured in my head. LOVE it when that happens!

Ink ~ Bashful Blue (retired), Marina Mist, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Stayz on Black
