Do More of What Makes You Happy

I fell in love with this quote the moment I set eyes on it and I was beyond thrilled when Stampin' Up! came out with it. It totally fits me. In fact, now I use it as an excuse to my hubby when I want to slip away to my woman cave. Happy wife, happy life right?

I am also in LOVE with the new {Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack} from the 2015 Occasions catalog. The colors are so rich and gorgeous! Since my real job is Chalkboard design, I decided to combine two of my favorite things in one card.

I'm still on a "Thankful" kick and needed some variety. I saw a card on Pinterest (can't find the link) with this layout and a similar color scheme and I fell in love with it. I've been wanting to put Bermuda Bay and Gold Foil together for some time now. This was a perfect reason!

Celebrate Sweet Sorbet!

I was in the mood for a CASE tonight. I saw this card on Pinterest this morning and decided I just HAD to make one. Of course I changed the colors and the sentiment, but the idea is all the same.

Once again, Sweet Sorbet has come to the rescue. I am absolutely LOVING this DSP pack from the Sale-a-Bration catalog. SO MUCH FUN! I have to admit, I did use a few items from my craft-stash that are not SU products. But, all in all... I think it all works out.

Supplies
Cardstock ~ pool party, whisper white, basic black
DSP ~ sweet sorbet
Ink ~ basic black, soft sky
Stamp Sets ~ perfect pennants, misc. background letter stamp, stippled blossoms
Tools ~ paper trimmer, paper snips, misc framelits (from JoAnns), vellum, dimensionals, glue dots, anywhere glue, sponges
Embellishments ~ ribbon (from my stash)

*Wondering about the banner? It is hand drawn ;)

Thinking of You

This week has been hairy, and I'm exhausted so my creativity is in the basement tonight. But with the help of Pinterest, I was able to CASE this cute little card. I've been trying to make myself create SOMETHING everyday. I think maybe it's my mental justification for my need to hoard craft supplies?

I am so addicted to this "Hardwood" stamp, it's ridiculous!

Supplies
Cardstock ~ Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Sahara Sand
Ink ~ Early Espresso
Stamp Sets ~ Hardwood, Banner Blast, Thinking of You
Embellishments ~ Pearls, ribbon, string
