The Paper Players Challenge #203 ~ Let's Go to the Beach!

Good Morning fellow crafting peeps! I've been up since 3 a.m. surfing all of my favorite blogs. I'm blessed with insomnia AND I'm a crafting addict so I have a lot of project plotting time, so thanks to good ole' Pinterest I have quite the list! I'm lucky I'm still married. Thankfully I have a very loving and patient hubby that understands I suffer from chronic crafting.

Among the many different blogs I follow, The Paper Player's is one of my favorite and they have a new {really fun} challenge this week!

I absolutely LOVE nautical themes, so I jumped right on this one. This card isn't exactly "beachy" but it's close. So, I decided to enter it into this challenge. If you recognize it, it's because I created it a couple of weeks ago. But, it is still a recent creation AND it's still hanging on my "Gallery" wall at home!

Color Me Christmas

I've been on a tag-making kick today. I've created a lot of pretty ones to give, but didn't have anything cute for the kids yet, so I decided to put this cute little stamp set to good use.

Cardstock ~ Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Whisper White, Baked Brown Sugar
Ink ~ Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Rose Red, Pink Pirouette, Basic Gray
Stamp Sets ~ A Banner Christmas, Color Me Christmas
Embellishments ~ Cherry Cobbler chevron ribbon

I created this cute little tag with a couple of challenges in mind. The layout came from one of my favorite blogs, Retro Sketches. It is for challenge #93. The color combo came from The Paper Players for challenge #175.

Ink ~ Old Olive, Raspberry Ripple, Pink Pirouette, Basic Black, Black Stazon

Truly Grateful 3D

Anything but a card they said. Challenge it will be. This was created for The Paper Players latest challenge. A challenge indeed it was. I have been stuck in my little happy place creating cards for who knows how long. I've really never done any 3D objects. It was a really fun little project. Something new and different. I've been collecting jars for quite some time. I think this one was a jalapeno jar (don't worry, I washed it first). I can't stand throwing things away that I think may someday turn into a craft project.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, First Edition DSP
Ink ~ Early Espresso, More Mustard, Crumb Cake
Stamp Sets ~ Gorgeous Grunge, Positively Chevron, Truly Grateful
Other Supplies ~ Linen fabric, burlap fabric, burlap ribbon, pool party ribbon

Christmas in July... and I missed it.

I have been SO behind on my card challenges lately. I haven't had much time at all to create {sad face}. So, I created this card for The Paper Player's Challenge #155. Here is what I came up with. For something different, I tried to stay away from the traditional Christmas colors.

Supplies Used:
Paper ~ Sahara Sand, Basic Grey
Ink ~ Early Espresso, Stayz on White
Stamp Sets ~ Come to Bethlehem
Other Supplies ~ Paper doily sizzlits, ovals collection dies, paper piercing tool, lacy brocade embossing folder, two-tone ribbon in basic gray/basic black
*Non-Stampin' Up supplies ~ Sparkle/frost mister (from JoAnn's)
