Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration ~ Happy Father's Day!

Today at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, we're celebrating all the fabulous Dads out there! I've been busy creating Father's Day cards for some time. I don't have just one wonderful dad in my life, I have THREE! This card is special because it's for my hubby. He's an avid hunter so I'm sure he'll enjoy the rugged manliness of this design. This is the first time I've gotten to play around with this {Walk in the Wild} stamp set. I think it was a success!

Retro Sketch Sunday #103

There is a new sketch challenge at Retro Sketches today. It is a fun little sketch. A tag! I love tags, they're something that you can use anytime. They are so much fun to make. This sketch was fun because it had a lot of room for creativity. I'm in love with Nautical themes, I needed a masculine tag, and I needed something for Father's Day (yes, I know it's early). This was the perfect project to fill those requirements!

By the Tide

Last night I realized that I needed to make one more Father's Day card. I got my on dad taken care of, even got my hubby taken care of... but forgot my father in-law. Oops! We  normally don't do gifts for my father in-law because he goes on a week long fishing trip that ends on Father's Day. He always says that's gift enough. But, it's me we're talking about and I have to break the rules. 

I received this stamp set today. I know it's been out for a while, I have just been on the fence about whether or not I would use it enough. I have to admit, I really like it. This card went together so smoothly. It was so much fun to do. I hope you like it.

To my Dad, You are my world. You have shown me life, love and given me a great sense of humor. You are amazing. You are Superman and you've taught me to be tough and to back a horse trailer like no one's business. I am so thankful for you!
