Hearts a Flutter

I'm seriously in love with this stamp set. I got it a while ago and just now had time to play with it. You'll find it in the Spring catalog on page 11. You can get it in a bundle with the matching Framelits Dies. GENIUS! I also used the new Chalkboard effect I've been seeing all over Pinterest. SO SIMPLE! A little white ink and a sponge dauber. Seriously easy. I used a white colored pencil to outline the edges, just to add a little more depth. I hate a flat card!

From My Heart

I FINALLY got this stamp set! I am so excited to use it. I made this card for my hubby for Valentine's Day. He's not the hearts and flowers type. Trying to come up with a manly man card is SO difficult...at least for me. I used the Adorning Accents Folder for the first time too. It was so much easier than I thought it would be. Tape was my friend. Once again, I gave this card a vintage feel by antiquing the edges. I think I'm probably going to drive this into the ground but I just LOVE the feel it gives to the card!

Feeling Sentimental

More from the {Feeling Sentimental} stamp set...
I created this card in neutrals and antiqued the edges. I used copper brads to add depth. I also used one of those cute little safety pins from Stampin' Up! Vintage Trinkets! It's kind of simple...for me at least.

Patience is a Virtue

Is it June yet? I want to see the new Stampin' Up! catalog! My mother keeps telling me that patience is a virtue. You would think that after having 2 kids, I'd have learned that. Maybe someday it will be a quality that I possess. I doubt it though ;)

Feeling Sentimental

Talk about a vintage feel! I absolutely LOVE this stamp set from Stampin' Up! You'll find it in the Sale-a-bration 2013 catalog. It includes 4 stamps. An old phone booth, ferris wheel, bicycle and "celebrate". I'm also loving the new Honeycomb Embosslets folder.

Oh, Hello

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up! Oh, Hello stamp set includes 7 stamps. Three different verses include Oh, Hello, You're Invited, and Thanks So Much. It also includes an oval chevron design, two different arrow stamps and a flower. So versatile! I had so much fun creating this card.

Happy Valentine's Day

Please be patient! I've just recently started photographing my cards. I use my phone, so they're a little less than professional.

Hello!

Hello! Please let me introduce myself. My name is Melissa and, well...I have a paper crafting addiction. I was introduced to stamping about 2 years ago. I've been on a mission ever since. I am an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. Well, maybe I shouldn't call myself a demonstrator, because I don't host parties or workshops. I guess you could call me a professional consumer of the trade. Or paper freak in layman's terms. I think my personal style is vintage design. I'm not into cutesy cards, unless my target is under the age of 10. I will post pictures of my creations as I come up with them. I try to use Stampin' Up! products exclusively, but I do get drawn into decorative paper packs from various craft stores. Feel free to post pictures of your own work. Please leave comments (as long as they're nice) of my work. Keep in mind that I'm learning as I go.
